Arrived without pre-order, free tables without reservation signs were available. Allegedly because of Corona rules but only one table with chairs next to each other right next to the entrance door to the outside. We were not allowed to move the chairs at the same table to the other side. Unfortunately we cannot rate the food as we left then. Rude and no hospitality. Wait staff and other people walking around without a face mask during our short stay.

Actually ended up here by chance because the Colorado beetle was full and I have to say: Fortunately. The seasoned meat for the starter was delicious, as was the schnitzel and the fried potatoes. The ambience is simple but very appropriate and the two women are very friendly and do a great job. The highlight for my son was the snake in the terrarium. Thanks to the team

As an experienced traveler, I would like to recommend this restaurant as the best choice in town, in terms of food quality, the price and the service. Despite a whiles’ waiting, the results are definitely worth it. Every meals are cooked at place, the side dishes are also house made, with distinguished taste. During the waiting time, we heard often that the two young cooks were smashing the pork escalope to get ready for Schnitzel, as I peeped into the kitchen, the kitchen was very clean and well organized, and the two young cooks were working with tempo, no rush at all. We will definitely return here again, before we finished our holidays in Bad Salzungen.

There was schnitzel with champis and fries. The small salad (incl.) Was great and so was the food itself. But I expected the schnitzel to be bigger. But it was delicious and the breading was great. The still water was more expensive than the Kreuzberg beer.

The waitress is friendly and the service is good. The food is delicious. The menu could have a little more choice. The price-performance ratio is right.
